By Mutiara Nurul Fathya (1209624108) Last four months, I decided to visit the book festival held by Gramedia called Semesta Buku.  It was held in several locations across Indonesia, one of them was in Gramedia Palmerah  Jakarta, where I went. This book festival is known for the affordable book sales. As I entered  the building, rows of tables were filled with discounted books, arranged by genre, such as  fiction, self-improvement, comics, and cookbooks. All I could see was a sea of people hunting  for books, reading synopses, and trying to choose between one title and another. The familiar  scent of fresh books, like a mix of crisp paper, newly printed ink, and just a hint of glue,  welcomed me, and that somehow made everything feel exciting. By Mutiara Nurul Fathya (1209624108) On one corner of my study desk sits a medium-sized, plain-colored notebook, a gift I received  on my birthday two years ago from my middle-school best friend, Yaya. The notebook’s  transparent, rigid front cover, made of a clear plastic, protects the following soft, grey inner  cover. The design of the inner cover has a subtle coffee shop theme printed all over it, such as  little teapots, cupcakes, croissants, and mugs of steaming coffee. In the center of it, there is a  simple white label that says “Gutteridge Coffee House” and “Coffee House, since 1691,” which  makes it have even more classic, vintage vibes. Inside, the first thing that catches my attention  is the brownish-yellow-colored paper; it’s not the standard white but a soft, earthy tone. The  pages are lined neatly, with a faint dotted line near the bottom and a clean margin at the top.  The back cover is made from brown, wood-like material. I...
